Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a patient services candidate to support clinical and non-clinical workflows at Quincy and Bridgewater locations. You will take vital signs, assist with patient flow, document information, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth operations.

The role involves direct patient interaction, routine office duties, and adherence to privacy rules. Onsite work at 500 Congress Street area with per diem scheduling and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS Certification and CMA Certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of MA or medical field experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Record medical history, vital statistics, or test results in medical records.
• Perform general office duties and act as liaison with other departments to support patients.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens and prepare them for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms, keep them clean, and stock supplies.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
