Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians by taking vitals, updating patient records, and assisting during examinations. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist with injections and vaccinations, and document services in the EMR.

Responsibilities

• Takes vitals on all patients as required.
• Assists physicians during examinations and with procedures.
• Prepare patients for examination and perform preliminary physical tests.
• Prepare treatment rooms and keep them organized and clean.
• Sterilize instruments and manage supplies inventory.
• Document visits and services in EMR software.
• Schedule procedures and coordinate with surgical centers.
• Counsel patients and explain treatment procedures.
