Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of a medical assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of Medical Assistant office experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical and non-clinical duties in front and back office.
• Follows immunization and medication administration procedures.
• Performs CLIA testing, collects specimens, and documents results in the EHR.
• Fulfills provider orders and provides discharge instructions.
• Coordinates continuity of patient care with internal health departments.
• Maintains exam rooms and supplies; prepares for patient care.
