Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Medical Assisting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Certification preferred.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work of 1–2 years required.

Aufgaben

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for healthcare providers.
• Record medical history and vital statistics in medical records.
• Perform general office duties and act as liaison with other departments and patients.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens and prepare them for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms and keep them stocked and clean.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
