Job summary

Praxis Health is seeking a friendly Medical Assistant in Salem, OR to support providers and ensure smooth patient care. You will room patients, take vitals, perform EKGs, document in EMR, and assist with procedures while maintaining a welcoming clinic flow.

The role requires strong customer service, multi-tasking ability, and a team-focused attitude within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assisting diploma from accredited program preferred.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS certification or willing to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience with EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients quickly and efficiently.
• Performing Electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures and vital sign measurement.
• Updating medical records.
• Assisting with minor procedures and administering injections.
• Supporting patients through their visit, including discharge and follow-ups.
• Managing medical supplies and ensuring a clean work environment.
