Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care System is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support within our Oregon clinic. You will perform patient intake, vital sign collection, exam room preparation, and assist providers with procedures while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will also administer vaccines under supervision, document in the electronic health record, coordinate referrals, and support scheduling.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; completion of CMA program preferred.
• BLS certification required; CMA certification preferred.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient intake, prepare examination rooms, and assist providers during exams.
• Administer vaccines and injections under supervision per protocols.
• Document in electronic health records accurately and timely.
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations with appropriate teams.
• Support front-office duties including scheduling and chart prep.
