Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living in Short Pump, Virginia, is seeking a Medical Assistant for our onsite Medical Center. You will provide clinical support to medical and specialty providers and perform duties as directed by clinical leadership or practice management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical clinical skills.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with computers.
• Active Medical Assistant certification including CPR and Phlebotomy.

Responsabilités

• Performs initial patient assessments; patient history; vital signs; EKGs; phlebotomy; injections.
• Manages stocking of treatment rooms and maintains cleanliness.
• Partners with lab facilities to ensure compliance with EHMG policies and OSHA guidelines.
