Job summary

311 Erickson Health Medical Group of Virginia, P.C. is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform patient assessments, collect histories, and monitor vital signs at our Fairfax, VA facility. The role requires CPR-certified medical assisting and active certification with the appropriate board.

You will perform EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and support room readiness while maintaining strict lab and OSHA compliance. A competitive support package accompanies this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical clinical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with computers.
• Ability to perform essential functions consistently with minimal supervision.
• Vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections.
• Current and active Medical Assistant certification per certifying board, CPR included.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial patient assessments.
• Takes patient history and records vital signs.
• Conducts EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Administers injections as needed.
• Manages stocking and cleanliness of treatment rooms.
• Coordinates with lab facilities to meet EHMG policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Supports patients and teammates to ensure quality care.

Compensation

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

What you will need

• Current and active medical assistant certification in accordance with the provisions of the certifying Board to include CPR certification
