Job summary

Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in our onsite Medical Center. You will perform patient assessments, vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and injections while ensuring treatment rooms are stocked and clean.

Minimum 1 year of clinical skills and CPR certification are required; you will work with a team under clinical leadership to support physicians and specialists, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical clinical skills.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with computers.
• Ability to perform essential functions with minimal supervision.
• Current and active medical assistant certification including CPR.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments; patient history; vital signs; EKGs; phlebotomy; injections.
• Stock and maintain treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness.
• Coordinate with lab facilities to follow EHMG policies and OSHA guidelines.
