Praxis Health is hiring a Medical Assistant in Eugene, OR, to support providers and ensure smooth patient care. The role includes rooming patients, taking vitals, updating medical histories, and documenting in EHRs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited program preferred.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant or CNA experience.
• BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, medical history and allergy updates.
• Accurately document in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and testing.
• Manage clinical tasks including prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription support.
• Contribute to daily team flow, supporting patients and staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
