Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with a culturally diverse population preferred.
• Preferred: CMA certification or completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Patient care & clinical support: room patients, take vital signs, assist with examinations and procedures.
• Documentation & records management: accurate EMR documentation of vitals, meds, histories and findings.
• Communication & coordination: respond to patient inquiries; coordinate with providers, insurance and pharmacies; arrange prior authorizations.
• Supply & inventory management: maintain clinic supplies and stock medications.
• Administrative support: assist front desk with scheduling, charts, and general duties.
