Endeavor Health, Evanston, IL, seeks a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant to join our physician practice. This full‑time role offers weekday hours, some travel to other locations, and opportunities to contribute to a patient‑centered team.

Key duties include answering phones, scheduling, registering patients, collecting payments, verifying insurances, and basic vitals. CPR is required; MA certification preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office preferred; on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support to physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
