Qualifications

• Medical Assisting Certification or three years’ experience as a MA required.
• CPR certification required.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Infection control and patient confidentiality knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Obtain and document patient vitals and chief complaint.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Prepare specimens and route to laboratories as needed.
• Document all interventions in the medical record.
• Coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments.
