Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree/MA certification preferred.
• 2–5 years MA or relevant experience preferred in multiple care settings.
• Excellent computer skills with EMR and scheduling systems.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills; able to interact with patients and staff.
• BLS certification preferred and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient flow during clinic hours.
• Documents review of systems and measures vital signs.
• Updates medical history and medication lists in EMR.
• Prepares patient charts by scanning and organizing records.
• Performs phlebotomy and EKGs as assigned.
• Schedules appointments and handles check-ins/check-outs.
• Completes pre-certifications for procedures and medications.
• Maintains clean, stocked exam rooms and proper safety standards.
