Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will greet patients, collect histories and vitals, assist with exams, test procedures, and specimen collection, and administer medications as directed.

You will also communicate test results and provider instructions, educate patients and families, coordinate care, and support quality improvement initiatives across the care team.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Completion of MA program or externship/internship preferred.
• CPR certification desired or active.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
