Job summary

Capital Medical Group in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced clinic. This onsite role supports physicians, nurses, and patients, ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, MA program completion, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of MA experience; you will work within a multi-specialty team and contribute to delivering high-quality,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Current BLS/CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow, room patients, and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medications, medical history, and other required information in the EMR.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, instruments, and clinical supplies.
• Support medication reconciliation and assist with medications or injections when appropriately authorized, supervised, and permitted.
• Provide provider-directed patient instructions and communicate concerns or abnormal findings to the appropriate clinical staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
