This position offers a 10-hour shift contract, competitive compensation based on experience, and the opportunity to contribute to a Level II Cardiac Center and a 24/7 ED in a rural hospital

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved certified medical assistant program.
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care within MA scope of practice.
• Assists with treatments and procedures; prepares needed supplies.
• Administers immunizations under supervision, ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintains accurate and timely records in the EHR daily.
• Coordinates with referral coordinators for timely referrals and tests.
• Keeps exam rooms stocked and maintains infection control practices.
