Summit Pacific Medical Center in Washington state is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinic teams and facilitate high-quality patient experiences. The MA will perform patient care under the licensed scope, prepare patients for provider exams, document vital signs, and assist with procedures and immunizations under supervision.

Required to complete an approved MA program and maintain current WA MA certification; BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an approved certified medical assistant program.
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure; BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient care within MA scope of practice and follow provider orders.
• Prepare patients for exams and document vital signs and presenting complaints.
• Administer immunizations per protocol and document administrations.
• Maintain timely records in the electronic health record.
