Oaklawn Medical Group in Marshall, MI is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care. Under direct supervision, you will perform clinical and administrative tasks, including vitals, specimen collection, immunizations, scheduling, and EMR documentation in a busy outpatient setting.

The role requires current CPR/BLS certification within 3 months of hire and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Formación

• Active BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience in a medical office preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients, escort to exam room, and record vitals.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers.
• Collect specimens, label accurately, and administer immunizations as directed.
• Handle administrative tasks: phones, scheduling, registration, referrals.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and clinic flow; ensure patient-centered care.
