Oaklawn Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform clinical and administrative tasks under provider supervision. You will greet patients, document vitals and histories in the EMR, and assist the clinical team to maintain smooth patient flow.

The role requires BLS certification within 3 months, plus eligibility as a Medical Assistant or LPN in Michigan. Excellent patient service and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced clinic.

Formación

• Active BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with diverse patient populations.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Record vital signs, medical histories, and medications in the EMR.
• Assist providers and nursing staff; implement medical orders safely.
• Schedule appointments, process referrals and prior authorizations.
• Maintain clean and stocked clinical rooms and equipment.
