Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy practice. You will assist with patient check-in, prepare exam rooms, perform basic clinical tasks, and coordinate care with multiple departments.

The role requires clinical experience, EKG, venipuncture, and strong computer skills, with emphasis on patient safety and compliance. A supportive team environment and evolving responsibilities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; medical assistant diploma or certificate.
• Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical facility as a medical assistant.
• Current experience with EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injections.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables.
• Computer skills and knowledge of information systems.

Responsibilities

• Check schedules and organize patient flow.
• Accompany patients to exam/procedure rooms and assist as needed.
• Assist with walking transfers, dressing, specimen collection, and exam prep.
• Chart and relay instructions to patients; answer calls and provide information.
• Handle clerical tasks: scheduling, chart updates, insurance verification.
• Assist physicians with procedures and clinic duties.
