Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The role includes assisting physicians with patient care, clerical duties, scheduling, chart management and data entry.

You will collect and process routine tests and relay results to the doctor, while delivering strong customer service to patients and staff. The position requires a high school diploma or higher, current BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CMA course preferred, not required.
• Phlebotomy course and phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with patient care and perform clerical tasks.
• Handle appointment scheduling, chart management and data entry.
• Collect and process routine testing and report results to doctor.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
