Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls seeks a Medical Assistant/CMA/CNA to join our clinical team. The role supports providers, documents medical records, and ensures patients receive quality care during visits.

You will obtain orders, assist with exams, and maintain the exam room throughout the shift. The position requires a high school diploma, BLS, and CNA or CMA training; CMA coursework is preferred and PACU/Medical-Surgical exposure is helpful.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
• CNA certificate or Nurse’s Aide certification; BLS required.
• CMA course preferred; experience in PACU/medical-surgical areas helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients by phone or in person.
• Verify patient information and medical history.
• Prepare patients for visits and assist with examinations.
• Ensure all reports, labs and imaging are in the chart.
• Assist providers during exams and prepare medications.
• Maintain exam room and supplies; inventory and restock.
• Document care, tests, and treatment in EMR; relay results to staff.
