McLaren Health Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient care teams in Michigan. Under supervision, you will perform a variety of clinical tasks and clerical duties to support patient examinations and treatments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent with six months of MA experience or completion of an approved medical assistant program. Certification and EMR experience are preferred but not required. Schedule is 8am-5pm.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months experience as a medical assistant.
• Or completion of one of the following programs: medical assistant, emergency medical technician, nurse assistant, licensed practical nurse or armed services medic program.
• Electronic medical record experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with patient care including vital signs, injections, venipuncture and related procedures.
• Prepares exam rooms, equipment and supplies; assists with documentation in the patient chart.
• Answers phones, processes messages and provides patient information as directed.

Educación

Medical assistant programs (MA, EMT, NA, LPN, armed services medic)
