Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals and groups.
• Mandatory OSHA training must be done annually.
• Knowledge of medical office policies, practices and procedures.
• Three to five years working in the health care system or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triages calls, schedules urgent/add-on visits, relays test results and coordinates referrals.
• Greets patients, performs routine pre-exam procedures and maintains accurate records.
• Assists providers with examinations and procedures as needed.
• Prepares and cleans patient areas and disposes of contaminated supplies.
