Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients, families and staff.
• Knowledge of medical office policies, practices and procedures commonly acquired in healthcare settings.
• Ability to follow OSHA guidelines and CLIA regulations.
• Previous experience in a physician clinic setting preferred.
• Mandatory OSHA training annually as per Exposure Control Plan.

Responsibilities

• Triages calls, supports tests, coordinates consults and pre-certifications.
• Performs routine pre-examination procedures including vital signs and data recording.
• Assists providers with examinations and procedures, and maintains accurate patient records.
• Orders supplies and medications and maintains a clean and safe patient environment.
