Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited medical assisting program or equivalent required.
• Certification: CCMA, CMA or RMA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care provided.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Perform administrative duties: filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
