Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant who will be the first point of contact for patient care, handling both admin and clinical tasks on-site. You will discuss symptoms, take vital signs, and administer vaccines and medications as certified, with duties including phlebotomy, specimen collection, and diagnostic screening tests.

The role requires MA training or 5+ years of experience, High school diploma, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact for patient care and perform administrative duties
• Perform clinical duties: discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, administer medications and vaccines
• Include phlebotomy, specimen collection, and diagnostic screening tests
• Sterilize equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• Provide direct patient care within certification limits
• Follow department policies while prioritizing tasks
