Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with patient care, including examining patients, taking medical histories, and performing routine tests.
• Schedule appointments and maintain patient records accurately and efficiently.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as directed by physicians.
• Perform front desk duties, including answering phones, greeting patients, and handling insurance paperwork.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Provide patient education and support, helping them understand their health conditions and treatment plans.
• Assist in the preparation and sterilization of medical equipment.
