Devine Management Consulting in the greater San Diego area is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment. This is a full-time opportunity with no PRN scheduling; shifts are eight hours, scheduled between 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CMA experience within the past two years.
• Current CMA credential or registration through an accepted organization (AAMA, AMT, or NHA).
• Graduation from a qualifying CMA training program accredited by CAAHEP/ABHES/ACCSC/ACICS/ACCET/ACCJC.
• Qualifying formal medical-services training completed through the United States Armed Forces may be accepted.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Ability to complete the required background and security screening.

Responsabilités

Pay: $22.97–$27.00 per hour

• Perform blood draws, injections, skin tests, and other authorized clinical procedures
• Process referrals and prior authorizations
• Maintain accurate electronic health records
• Provide administrative and clinical support while protecting patient confidentiality
• Follow established infection-control, safety, and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications

• At least one year of Certified Medical Assistant experience within the past two years
• Current Certified Medical Assistant credential or registration through an accepted organization, including AAMA, AMT, or NHA
• Graduation from a qualifying Medical Assistant training program accredited by one of the following:
  • Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)
  • Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)
  • Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)
  • Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET)Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC)
• Qualifying formal medical-services training completed through the United States Armed Forces may also be accepted
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Ability to complete the required background and security screening

A Medical Assistant program completion certificate alone does not satisfy the certification requirement. Applicants must also possess a current CMA certification or registration from an accepted credentialing organization.

• Current CMA certification or registration
• Medical Assistant diploma, certificate, or transcript identifying the training institution
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS card
• Current résumé documenting at least one year of recent CMA experience
