Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program or one year of medical back-office experience.
• Basic keyboarding skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field (preferred).
• Working knowledge of EPIC or other EMR (preferred).
• Qualified bilingual or multilingual candidates (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scheduling patients (including follow-up visits, imaging, and lab work).
• Preparation of appropriate chart elements.
• Checking vital signs.
• Rooming patients.
• Assisting with procedures.
• May be required to start at a different location throughout the workweek or travel to multiple sites.
