Job summary

Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant based in Bend, Oregon. The MA will provide clinically competent support, perform patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, and assist clinicians across the care team in a busy clinic.

The role requires standing up to daily patient interactions, accurate data entry in the EMR, adherence to HIPAA, and strong teamwork. Flexible hours and in-person work support quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical assisting or equivalent training; CMA certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification when state requirements apply.
• Active BLS certification for healthcare settings.
• Willingness to pass NACI background check and CAOCH/Drug Testing where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient interviewing, vital signs, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic tests.
• Manage front and back-office duties including phones, scheduling, and charting.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality across all interactions.
