Job summary

Praxis Health in Bend, OR is seeking a Medical Assistant/EMT to support providers and ensure seamless patient care. You will play a key role in rooming patients, performing EKGs, taking vitals, updating records, and assisting with minor procedures.

You will help with injections, discharge planning, and follow-ups while maintaining a clean, well-organized clinical environment. Strong customer service and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assisting diploma or EMT certification preferred.
• 1 year of MA or CNA experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) is required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients quickly and efficiently.
• Perform EKGs and measure vital signs.
• Update and maintain medical records.
• Assist with minor procedures and injections.
• Support patients through visits, including discharge and follow-ups.
• Manage medical supplies and keep the work area clean.
