Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic workflow, supporting physicians throughout procedures and ensuring an excellent service experience.

The position requires a High School Diploma, 1-2 years of clinical hands-on experience, and MA training with CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Completion of MA training program and CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish & English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection as trained.
• Document patient interactions in EMR/EHR accurately.
• Deliver patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting and use EMR platforms.
• Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, hospitals.
• Leverage bilingual skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Fridays & Saturdays


• Locations: Kansas City, MO & Overland Park, KS clinics


• Compensation: $21-$27/hr


• Paid training Will train out of state for 1-2 weeks (paid by USA Clinics)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.


• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).


• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.


• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.


• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.


• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.


• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.


• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent,required.


• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.


• Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.


• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.


• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.


• Fluency in Spanish & English preferred
