Job summary

North Canyon Network of Care in the Magic Valley is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT, or Orthopedic Tech to provide technical, clinical, and clerical support to our providers. The role delivers patient care per the care plan and supports efficient operations.

You will accept delegation, collect data during assessments, and communicate findings to the care team. Strong communication and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or EMT program or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in the state of Idaho or hold a current Orthopedic Tech. certification.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.
• Ability to work with patients’ growth and development needs across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients in accordance with the provider's care plan.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician program or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in the state of Idaho or hold a current Orthopedic Tech. certification.
• Minimum experience as required for the position and/or specific area(s) of assignment.
• Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and the unit/area(s) of assignment.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension/expression and written comprehension/expression.
• Ability and willingness to work with patients’ growth and development needs particularly related to the age of patients in the unit/area(s) of assignment.
• Ability to manage a chaotic work environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes, and those who are dying.
