Job summary

North Canyon Network of Care in the Magic Valley is seeking a compassionate medical assistant (MA), CNA, EMT or Orthopedic Tech to join our patient-first team. You will provide technical, clinical, and clerical support to our providers and prepare for efficient patient care.

Duties include accepting delegation, delivering care per the care plan, collecting data, and communicating during patient assessment and care planning. We offer great benefits and a fun work environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or EMT program, or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in Idaho, or Orthopedic Tech certification.
  • Minimum experience as required for the position and/or specific area(s) of assignment.
  • Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and unit/area(s) of assignment.
  • Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension/expression and written comprehension/expression.
  • Ability and willingness to work with patients’ growth and development needs across age groups.
  • Ability to manage a chaotic work environment related to changing patient needs, including acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.
  • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with performance improvement and organizational values.
  • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Accept delegation from the provider or supervisor to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Deliver care to patients in accordance with the provider's care plan.

  • Support and coordinate clerical tasks to improve workflow and efficiency.

The role is responsible for providing technical, clinical, and clerical support to provider and/or physician. They will perform to the level of clinical skill and preparation for delivering efficient patient care. Duties include but are not limited to accepting delegation from the provider or assigned supervisor to meet the needs of our patients, deliver care to our patients in accordance with the provider's care plan, collect data and communicate information during patient assessment and care planning. Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician program or hold a current Certified Nurse Aide certification in the state of Idaho or hold a current Orthopedic Tech. certification.
  • Minimum experience as required for the position and/or specific area(s) of assignment.
  • Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and the unit/area(s) of assignment.
  • Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension/expression and written comprehension/expression.
  • Ability and willingness to work with patients’ growth and development needs particularly related to the age of patients in the unit/area(s) of assignment.
  • Ability to manage a chaotic work environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes, and those who are dying.
  • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).
