Position Overview: The Medical Assistant assists nurses with patient care, manages clinic flow, and performs routine clinical tasks. The schedule involves three 8-hour shifts per pay period, Monday through Friday, 8AM-4:30PM.

Responsibilities include:

1. Introducing self to patients and families to ease procedures.
2. Obtaining and charting vital signs and other clinical information.
3. Recognizing and reporting variances from normal.
4. Assisting with patient preparation, orthotics application, cast procedures, and assisting physicians during exams.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from AAMA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Experience with electronic medical records and/or medical terminology
