US Fertility, the nation’s leading fertility network, invites applications for a Part Time Medical Assistant at Shady Grove Fertility in Davenport, Florida.

You will perform phlebotomy, support clinical care, manage supplies, and educate patients while providing compassionate care. This role offers morning hours and a weekend rotation in Tampa.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal MA program; preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy and speed.
• Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Perform high volume phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations.
• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Provide patient/couple counseling and instruction.
• Provide pre and post-op education.
• Perform semen washes and setup for IUIs.
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
• Enter labs and print labels in the computer system.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families.
• Work independently to achieve program goals.
• Support and promote excellence in customer service.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant (Part Time)to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Davenport, Florida.

• Schedule: Part time; Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM; Eastern time, One weekend every 4-6 weeks in the Tampa office.

In this role, the Medical Assistantwill:

• Perform high volume of phlebotomy

• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients

• Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
• Provide pre and post op education
• Perform semen washes and sets up for IUIs
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families
• Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved
• Support and promote excellence in customer service
