US Fertility is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Glen Mills, PA location. This full-time role supports fertility patients, performs phlebotomy, manages room setup, and maintains accurate medical records. You will collaborate with physicians and staff, ensuring efficient patient flow and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; medical training program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency and strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique.
• Set up, stock, and maintain supplies for blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care using logs and EMR.
• Enter labs and print labels and place orders.
• Check patients in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, take vital signs, assist with procedures, and maintain rooms.
• Maintain patient medical records in EMR.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join our team atShady Grove Fertility inGlen Mills, Pennsylvania.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Eastern Time. Some weekends and holidays as needed with a 6:45 AM start time.

In this role, theMedical Assistant will:

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions
• Set up, stock, and maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs, electronic medical records, and appropriate outside laboratory forms
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels, ensure orders for lab work are in place
• Check patients in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments clinical care of fertility patients
• Set up rooms for procedures, take vital signs, obtain patient height and weight, assist with procedures as needed, clean and stock rooms and care for equipment according to manufacturer and OSHA guidelines
• Maintain patient medical records through the use of electronic medical records

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• High school diploma
• Completion of a certified or formal medical training programpreferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
• Computer proficiency required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication
