Job summary

US Fertility in Glen Mills, PA seeks a Medical Assistant to join Shady Grove Fertility network. The role supports clinical teams, performs phlebotomy, schedules, and documents patient care throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; formal medical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique.
• Set up, stock, and maintain supplies for blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care in logs and EMR; manage lab orders.
• Check in/out patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, collect payments.
• Prepare rooms for procedures and assist with procedures as needed.
• Maintain patient medical records in EMR and related systems.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant to join our team atShady Grove Fertility inGlen Mills, Pennsylvania.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Eastern Time. Some weekends and holidays as needed with a 6:45 AM start time.

In this role, theMedical Assistant will:

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions
• Set up, stock, and maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs, electronic medical records, and appropriate outside laboratory forms
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels, ensure orders for lab work are in place
• Check patients in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect payments clinical care of fertility patients
• Set up rooms for procedures, take vital signs, obtain patient height and weight, assist with procedures as needed, clean and stock rooms and care for equipment according to manufacturer and OSHA guidelines
• Maintain patient medical records through the use of electronic medical records

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• High school diploma
• Completion of a certified or formal medical training programpreferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication
