Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Indianapolis clinic to balance patient needs and maintain efficient workflow while supporting physicians during procedures. The role emphasizes providing an excellent patient experience and hands-on clinical tasks.

The position requires 2-5 years of hands-on MA experience, CPT/EMR proficiency, and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred. Schedule is Monday-Thursday with training provided; compensation is $21-$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
