Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic workflow, providing support to physicians before, during, and after procedures to ensure an excellent patient service experience.

Greet and room patients, document vital signs and medical histories in EMR/EHR, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, and operate EMR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required.
• Fluency in Spanish & English preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
