• Administer medications as directed by a physician, adhering to the five rights of medication administration.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and assist with referral coordination.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness, stocking of supplies, and proper functioning of equipment.
• Greet and escort patients to examination rooms, taking vital signs, obtaining and documenting patient medical history, and preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
