Job description

Overview:

  • Collaborates in the workflow of the clinic and the assessment of patients/significant others in a timely, consistent, and systematic manner. Documents subjective and objective data according to policy.
  • Demonstrates effective patient safety techniques and infection control.
  • Works as part of the clinic team efficiently to accomplish daily objectives.

Qualifications:

Medical Assistant:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.

Certified Medical Assistant:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
