Job summary

National Park Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant, Orthopedics for a full-time day shift in Hot Springs, AR. You will perform routine clinical and administrative duties in the orthopedics area under physician or nurse supervision.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, basic diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, and maintaining exam rooms and supplies. A high school diploma is required; CMA/RMA/CCMA certification within 60 days of hire and BLS within 60 days are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree preferred.
• CMA or RMA or CCMA certification within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

• Document patient care and monitor changes in condition.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting; maintain examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

How you'll contribute:
