Responsibilities

• Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of the Orthopedics area.
• Under supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with patient assessments and treatments.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition; documents care.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; restocks and cleans exam areas.
• Performs administrative duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

How You'll Contribute

Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.

• Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Preferred; Associate degree
• Preferred License: CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 60 days of hire.
