Ascension's 2nd St. Clinic in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time orthopedic support role from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will conduct clinical interviews, capture vital signs, and ensure data accuracy for diagnosis, while preparing sterile treatment rooms for physicians to focus on patient care.

You will manage clinical records and communications with precision and maintain medical inventory to keep the team ready for immediate patient support. This role emphasizes teamwork and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date; AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year of related experience required.
• Professional licensure/certification can substitute education/experience if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate seamless patient transitions by conducting clinical interviews and capturing vital signs for accurate diagnosis.
• Prepare and maintain sterile, organized treatment rooms to support physicians.
• Coordinate patient care journeys by managing clinical records and communications with precision.
• Maintain a high-standard care environment by managing medical inventory and supplies for immediate support.

• Coordinate patient care journeys by managing clinical records and communications with precision, ensuring no detail of the treatment plan is missed.
• Maintain a high-standard care environment by managing medical inventory and supplies, ensuring the team is always equipped to provide immediate patient support.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
