Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with orthopedic office front and back experience in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is a part-time role that can grow to full-time as the practice expands, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, documenting chief complaints and history of present illness, updating medication and social histories, assisting with patient flow (rooms, X-ray), dressing removal, suture removal, injections

Qualifications

• MA certification required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• BLS required.
• Experience in Orthopedic Surgery or surgical specialties a plus.
• Experience in Insurance Verification and Prior authorizations desirable.

• Documenting updated meds, social history, etc.
• Assisting with flow of patients through office (into rooms, xray, etc).
• Dressing removal/application (assisting physician and/or on own).

• Assisting with injections (including preparing injections).
• Returning phone calls, answering patient questions.
• Assisting with clerical, patient-related paperwork.

Pro Med Healthcare Services is currently searching for an experienced Medical Assistant with experience in an orthopedic Office front and Back. This is an amazing opportunity to join a new practice and be a part of the growth and development.

Pay Rate: $23.00 an Hour

Hours: Part time growing to Fulltime - 8AM to 4:00 PM

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL

Expectationed skills/tasks include:

• Rooming patients

• Documenting updated meds, social history, etc
• Assisting with flow of patients through office (into rooms, xray, etc)
• Dressing removal/application (assisting physician and/or on own)
