Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare in the Houston area is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. This part-time, onsite role supports providers, handles patient flow, and helps the clinic run smoothly.

No MA certification is required at start; we provide two weeks of paid training. You will travel between assigned clinics, perform basic clinical tasks such as vitals, venipuncture, injections, and assist with front desk duties while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 months of medical experience or 180 externship hours.
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• Able to travel across the assigned region.
• Background check successfully completed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document manual vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections as directed by providers.
• Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
• Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
• Support front desk operations as needed.
• Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
• Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.
