Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
• Ambulatory health care experience preferred.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management/physicians.
• CPR certification within first 3 months.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vitals.
• Perform pulmonary function tests.
• Administer injections.
• Conduct EKGs and breathing treatments.
• Receive lab specimens and perform basic tests.
• Dressing changes and wound care.
• Assist with hearing and vision tests.
• Maintain thorough patient documentation.
